Regular Council

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth accept the agenda as presented.

That the Council of Municipality of West Perth accept Consent Items 4.1 - 4.15 for information and the minutes of the June 21, 2021 Regular Meeting be adopted.

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth receives the Joint Accessibility Plan: Annual Status Update 2020 report; and, That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth approves the Joint Accessibility Plan: Annual Status Update 2020; and, That staff be directed to post the Joint Accessibility Plan: Annual Status Update 2020 on the West Perth municipal website.

That the Site Plan Application and plans, materials and drawings proposed for development on the subject lands, being seven (7) separate, legally conveyable parcels of land and collectively described as Lots 2 and 3 and Part of Lots 4 to 10, Plan 477, Mitchell Ward, being Parts 2 to 8 on 44R-5827, Municipality of West Perth be approved, and that Council proceed with the adoption of the By-law authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to enter into the Site Plan Agreement and have it registered on title of the subject lands.

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth receives the report from the West Perth Public Library Board meeting held June 22, 2021, for information.

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth receives the West Perth’s Consolidated Financial Statements report as of June 30, 2021, for information.

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth accepts the report on Parking By-law Amendments as information.

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth approves the 2021 West Perth Council Meetings Schedule as amended.

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth support the proposal by the Mitchell BIA to install decorative Bella Wraps on the light standards in Downtown Mitchell.

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth receives the By-law to Close Portions of Public Highway report for information.

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth donates the amount of $2,500.00 to Mitchell and District Agricultural Society towards the 2021 Mitchell Fall Fair.

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth accepts the reports from staff and Councillors as presented; and further that all committee minutes and correspondence not specifically dealt with by resolution be received and filed.

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth gives first, second and third and final reading to By-laws 52-2021, 53-2021 and 54-2021 this 12th day of July, 2021, and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to sign same and affix the Corporate Seal thereto.

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth proceeds in Closed Session at 8:00 p.m. for the purpose of addressing:  a trade secret or scientific, technical, commercial or financial information that belongs to the municipality or local board and has monetary value or potential monetary value;

That By-law 55-2021, being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of West Perth be read a first, second and third time, and finally passed and that the said By-law be signed by the Mayor and the Clerk and sealed with the seal of the Corporation.

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth adjourn the Council meeting at 8:21 p.m.
