Regular Council

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth accept the agenda as presented.

That the Council of Municipality of West Perth accept Consent Items 4.1 - 4.16 for information and the minutes of the December 7, 2020 Regular Meeting and Public Meeting and the minutes of the December 14, 2020 Special Council Meeting be adopted.

THAT the Council of the Municipality of West Perth receive the report entitled Application for Consent to Sever (No. B35/20 – Lot Addition) by Grace Farms Ltd. affecting lands described as Part Lot 25, Concession 9, As In R183515 Save & Except Part 15 on Reference Plan 44R-3719, Hibbert Ward, Municipality of West Perth (7377 Perth Line 24), AND Part Lot 25, Concession 9, As In R136393 Save & Except Parts 14 & 16 on Reference Plan 44R-3719, Hibbert Ward, Municipality of West Perth (ARN: 313021000902500) dated December 21, 2020 prepared by the Consulting Planner to Perth County, for information; AND THAT the Council of the Municipality of West Perth recommends that the County of Perth Land Division Committee NOT APPROVE the Application for Consent to Sever (No. B35/20 – Lot Addition) by Grace Farms Ltd. affecting lands described as Part Lot 25, Concession 9, As In R183515 Save & Except Part 15 on Reference Plan 44R-3719, Hibbert Ward, Municipality of West Perth (7377 Perth Line 24), AND Part Lot 25, Concession 9, As In R136393 Save & Except Parts 14 & 16 on Reference Plan 44R-3719, Hibbert Ward, Municipality of West Perth (ARN: 313021000902500).

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth pre-approve 2021 capital expenditures on tendering for West Perth’s annual “Granular Resurfacing Contract” for a five (5) year term.

That West Perth Council receive the report titled "Investment Update," dated December 21, 2020; and That West Perth Council authorize the establishment of a tax stabilization reserve using the interest earned on this PPN.

That Council for the Municipality of West Perth receive the Ward & Uptigrove Council Remuneration report for information.

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth gives first, second and third and final reading to By-law 80-2020 this 21st day of December, 2020, and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to sign same and affix the Corporate Seal thereto.

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth accepts the reports from staff and Councillors as presented; and further that all committee minutes and correspondence not specifically dealt with by resolution be received and filed.

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth proceeds in Closed Session at 9:30 p.m. for the purpose of addressing personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees for the appointment of members to a local board.

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth accept the resignation of Charles Fitzsimmons from the West Perth Library Board; and That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth appoint Allison Schultz, Sydney Wettlaufer, and Kim Wolf to the West Perth Library Board to coincide with the 2018-2020 term of Council, until replacement appointments are made by resolution, or when By-law 1-2019 has been amended.

That By-law 81-2020 being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of West Perth be read a first, second and third time, and finally passed and that the said By-law be signed by the Mayor and the Clerk and sealed with the seal of the Corporation.

That the Council of the Municipality of West Perth adjourn the Council meeting at 9:39 p.m.
