Committee of Adjustment

That the West Perth Committee of Adjustment accept the agenda as presented.

That the West Perth Committee of Adjustment adopt the minutes of the May 27, 2021 meeting.

That the Municipality of West Perth Committee of Adjustment APPROVE Minor Variance D13-05-21 submitted by Matt Runge (c/o MR Engineering and Design Ltd.) on behalf of John Van Nes (c/o Van Nes Farms Ltd.) affecting lands described as Lot 2, Concession 3, Part of Lot 3, Concession 4, Fullarton Ward, Municipality of West Perth (5081 Line 32), and that the Committee hereby grants the following variance to Zoning By-law 100-1998: 1)Section 6.4.1 – Livestock facilities shall comply with the Minimum Distance Separation formula II (MDS II). The proposed livestock housing facility would have an MDS II setback of 415 metres from a residential use located at 5099 Line 32, as based on the submitted Application Drawing; and The subject application conforms to the general intent and purpose of the County of Perth Official Plan and the Municipality of West Perth Zoning By-law. The subject application has also been found to be desirable for the appropriate development or use of the subject property, and is minor in nature. The following conditions are recommended to apply: 1)That the Minor Variance only applies to the proposed livestock housing facility consistent with the Application Drawing; and 2)That the owners obtain the necessary Building Permit within two years of the approval of the Minor Variance.

That the West Perth Committee of Adjustment hereby closes this Public Hearing held pursuant to Section 45 of the Planning Act at 6:41 p.m.
